Hives, or as medicine called urticaria, are reddish rashes that appear on the skin. Although hives are often associated with an allergic response, this condition can also be triggered by a number of other things, such as mental stress, side effects of drugs, insect bites or stings, cold or hot temperatures, and inflammation. Hives are one of the most common skin health problems. It is estimated that close to 20% of people aged have experienced hives, and 15% of them have had hives since childhood.
Indications for hives
Hives on the skin appear as spots, rash and rashes that feel itchy. These spots can appear anywhere on the body. Generally the indications for hives appear immediately, after which it fades by itself in close to 24 hours, and does not require special healing.
However, people with hives should seek medical help if they face any of the following indications:

These indications indicate a severe allergic response and require immediate action. However, if the itching feels mild, you can help reduce the indications for hives with some home treatments.

There are a number of products you can add to the bath to help relieve itching. One of them is oatmeal (specifically marketed like colloidal oatmeal products for bathing) or a handful of baking soda.
Stay away from skin care products that can cause irritation. Some types of soaps, especially those with fragrances, can dry out your skin and increase itching. Make sure you use a special soap for sensitive skin. Also use a special lotion product for sensitive skin, and apply it quickly after bathing to help relieve itching.

Hot temperatures can make itching worse. Wear clothes that are thin and loose, and are made of safe material that absorbs sweat. Keep the temperature in the room cool and safe.
